1. Who are we?
Rijles Assistent is an app for driving instructors and driving school students, developed by Antroposoft AI. The app records driving lessons using dual cameras (road view + student view) and phone telemetry (GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope) for AI analysis based on the Dutch CBR Rijprocedure B.

2. What personal data do we process?
Data you actively provide
- Student and instructor names
- Phone number (optional, for message notifications)
- Lesson type, route, notes
Data the app collects automatically
- Video recordings: dual camera (front and rear) during driving lessons
- Telemetry: GPS location, speed, heading, acceleration, gyroscope data
- Device information: app version, operating system
Incidentally captured data
- License plates of other road users: incidentally captured in road view footage. These are not intentionally processed, extracted, or stored as separate data.
- Faces of other road users: may be incidentally visible in road view footage.
- Student's face: recorded by the front camera for analysis of looking behavior (mirror checks, shoulder checks, scanning).
3. Why do we use your data?

4. Who has access to your data?
- Antroposoft AI — as data controller
- External AI service provider — as data processor: video frames and telemetry are processed for AI analysis. Frames are not stored after processing.
- The driving instructor — has access to lessons and feedback of their students
- The student — receives feedback via the app or Telegram
We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. How long do we retain your data?

6. How do we protect your data?
- Videos and telemetry are uploaded via HTTPS
- Data is stored on secured servers
- Access is limited to the responsible driving instructor
- AI analysis is performed via encrypted connection with our external service provider
7. License plates and faces of third parties
The app records road view footage during driving lessons. License plates and faces of other road users may be incidentally captured.
- License plates and faces are not intentionally processed or extracted
- Frame analysis uses low resolution images, making plates often illegible
- Frames are immediately deleted after analysis
- Videos are automatically deleted after the retention period
- A future version will automatically blur license plates and faces before AI processing
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access: You can request which data we process about you
- Rectification: You can have incorrect data corrected
- Erasure: You can request deletion of your data
- Restriction: You can restrict the processing
- Portability: You can request your data in a common format
- Objection: You can object to the processing
